The groundbreaking production was made possible through the generous support of the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA), which awarded creator Antonia Badon a Support for Artists Grant, fiscally sponsored by Arts in Education.

Harlem Renaissance Time Travel Girlz aka the TTGirlz, is a living history storybook series that follows the excursions of seven (7) year old Ava and and six (6) year old Tamia who travels back-in-time to the Harlem Renaissance locating, recounting stories, adventures and writings mapped-out in their grandmother's secret journal found in her armoire.
Harlem: The Black Mecca, book 1 of the Harlem Renaissance landmark series; kids explore the rich and storied history of the Harlem community, its culture, the ever-present Harlemites, the lifestyles, the places, and the cultural phenomena like the 'Strut.' Along with discovering Harlem's most illustrious middle-class neighborhoods, at every turn, kids get an up-close pictorial view of the indelible landmarks where the legends lived and frequent.
